Payment Methods

Everything on this site is priced in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), wherever you are. What you can pay with depends on where your order is going.

Why the two lists differ

FPX connects Malaysian bank accounts, so there is nothing in it for a Singapore customer to choose. Orders from Singapore are paid by card instead. Both go through the same provider and the same payment page.

We never see your card or banking details

You are taken to the provider’s own payment page to pay, and brought back here afterwards. Your card number, your CVV and your online banking password are entered on their page, not ours, and never pass through this site.

What we record is what you ordered, where it is going, and whether the provider told us the payment succeeded.

We do not add a payment surcharge

The price you see is the price you pay, plus shipping. We do not add a card-processing fee on top — the cost of taking payments is ours, not something to hand back to you at the last screen.

Currency

We charge in Ringgit even for orders to Singapore, because the whole shop is priced in one currency and we would rather not invent an exchange rate. Your bank or card issuer converts at their own rate, and some add a foreign transaction fee. That amount is between you and your bank; we never see it.

If a payment fails

Nothing is charged and no order is placed. Your basket is still here — go back to the cart and try again, or use a different method.

While your order is waiting to be paid we hold the stock for you for a short time. If the payment is never completed, the hold is released and the pieces go back on sale.

If you paid but the order still says pending

Give it a minute and reload your order page — the confirmation sometimes arrives a moment after you do. Please do not pay a second time. If it has not settled after a few minutes, send us your order number at hello@calyncadeau.com and we will check it against the provider. We would much rather look it up than have you charged twice.

Refunds

Refunds go back through whichever provider took the payment, to the same account or card. How that works, and when, is on the return policy page.

Instalments

We do not offer instalment or buy-now-pay-later plans. If that ever changes, it will say so here first.
